Nine & Dine Golf Special at X1X Restaurant at the Bay of Quinte Golf & Country Club

I usually make a sandwich wrap whenever I play golf, but last Tuesday, while playing the new 18 holes at Bay of Quinte Golf & Country Club, I decided to forgo the sandwich wrap and head over to X1X Restaurant after my round for a bite to eat.

I didn’t have far to go. X1X Restaurant’s patio overlooks the green on Number 18 hole.

At the beginning of the 2024 golf season, Cheryl and Alex Topitsch took over operations at X1X Restaurant. This is not their first rodeo in the food & beverage business. Cheryl and Alex have owned and operated Jack Tucker's Bar and Grill, located at the corner of Wallbridge-Loyalist Road and Vermilyea Road, since May 2023. Cheryl has also been involved in the food catering business for a number of years.

I wanted to meet Cheryl and Alex, check out their menu, and taste some of their foods.

So away we went. After finishing the round, I threw the clubs in the back of the car, and my playing partner Dave & I headed for the outdoor patio overlooking the golf course.

Number 18 at the Bay of Quinte Golf & country Club is a great golf hole. The fairway is relatively narrow with beautiful homes down the left side and water to your right. There are also two fairway bunkers on the left side and another one a little farther down on the right side of the fairway, just to make this hole a little more interesting.

I love hitting a nice drive down the middle, and while standing over my ball, shooting the pin with my rangefinder, announcing to my playing partners, ” I've got 150 yards to the pin and the soup of the day is Cream of Mushroom”.

The menu at X1X Restaurant offers a nice variety of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and salads. They also have a wood-fired pizza oven on their patio.

I had the Steak Sandwich with Caesar Salad and a few slices of a Margherita wood-fired pizza. I can assure you that both were delicious and cooked to perfection.

Nine & Dine Golf Special

Golf in the morning and cap off our round with lunch at X1X or golf in the afternoon and enjoy a delicious meal afterwards.

Golfers must play 9 holes on the Blue Course. (Also known as the Old Nine)
